Happy New Year!!!

This winter break was a much-needed pause filled with new routines and memorable moments. 

One of my favorite things I started over the break was going to the gym every day with my Tia. The first photo captures one of our late-night gym trips, me with my headphones on and my Tia looking ready to go. I love this picture because it reflects our bond and the commitment we made to being consistent. From a composition standpoint, the lighting creates a natural contrast, making the moment feel more personal and candid. The placement of the phone in the foreground also adds depth to the image, drawing the viewer’s eye into our cozy car setting before heading into the workout.

Another break highlight was a Christmas gathering at my friend Desirae’s house. The second picture shows my friend Jocelyn and me wearing red Rudolph noses during our Secret Santa exchange. This event was full of laughter, great food like Wingstop and meaningful conversations. The photo stands out because its vibrant colors, festive attire, and glowing backdrop create a warm and cheerful mood. The framing captures the joy of the moment, and the symmetry of our Rudolph noses makes the image playful and fun. These little details perfectly sum up the holiday spirit we shared that night.

Therefore, winter break gave me new habits to work on and cherished memories to look back on, making it a time I’ll always reminisce about.
