This Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to reflect on the things I’m most grateful for. I am thankful for my family and friends who are always there to support me and lift me up. Therefore this is why I’m sharing three of my favorite photos I’ve taken 2 I have taken and 1 new fresh picture. Each picture not only showcases creative techniques but also reminds me of the joy I feel when surrounded by loved ones.

This close-up of a sunflower is a vibrant reminder of the beauty in nature. The bright petals and contrasting center draws attention, while the leaves in the background add depth to the image. To highlight the sunflower’s natural colors, I edited the photo by boosting the saturation a little bit to make the yellows and greens pop more. This photo represents positivity, qualities I associate with the support and encouragement I’ve received from family and friends.

The second photo is a forced perspective shot of my friend being crushed by a giant foot. To create this illusion, I positioned the camera low to the ground and aligned the angles carefully to make the foot appear larger in comparison to the person in the background. The result is imaginative as it captures the good moments I cherish with my friends. I didn’t need to edit this much, as the natural lighting and focus brought this picture to life.

The third picture captures my friend in a ghost-like effect. To create this, I used a slow shutter speed while my friend moved slightly during the exposure. This technique allowed me to achieve the faint, translucent look that makes the photo feel ghostly. It’s one of my favorites because it symbolizes how memories with friends can feel fleeting but leave a lasting impression.
These photos were overall good and reminded me to appreciate both the big and small moments in life. Whether it’s creating art, enjoying nature, or sharing laughter with friends, I’m grateful for the experiences and people who inspire and support me every day.
